We are seeking a new Manager of Season Ticket Sales who is a coachable, self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to sell.
About the Position:
The San Jose Earthquakes are looking for a ticketing leader to become our Manager of Season Ticket Sales who will lead and support all season ticket sales. This role oversees season ticket sales, supports strategic selling and upselling efforts, and ensures best-in-class service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, highly organized, and passionate about selling, relationship building, coaching, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This person will report directly to the Sr. Director of Season Ticket Sales and Service.

Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead, manage, and develop a team of Account Executives, including ongoing coaching, training, and performance management
โ€ข Serve as an individual contributor by actively generating new business and consistently achieving personal season ticket sales revenue goals while leading by example for the sales team.
โ€ข Collaborate on the season ticket sales campaigns, including strategy, execution, and performance tracking.
โ€ข Set, monitor, and drive progress toward individual and team revenue goals including upsells, group tickets, and premium tickets.
โ€ข Implement and execute strategic selling initiatives to increase season ticket revenue
โ€ข Work closely with the account service teams for seamless sales to service handoffs
โ€ข Ensure a high level of customer service and client satisfaction which can include resolving escalated issues.
โ€ข Plan and execute season ticket sales events
โ€ข Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and results
โ€ข Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and ticket operations to support organizational goals
โ€ข Maintain consistency in processes, communication, and service standards across the team
Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in a sales role and at least 1 year leading a team.
โ€ข Prior experience selling season tickets in the sports and entertainment industry and managing a team
โ€ข Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with executives
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills
โ€ข Excellent organizational and time management skills
โ€ข Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
โ€ข Strong leadership and coaching/mentorship ability
โ€ข Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
โ€ข The ability to work independently and demonstrate creativity and initiative
โ€ข The ability and desire to work long and flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
