Job description

Position Overview:
The Inventory Control Auditor is responsible for conducting accurate physical inventory counts across storage units and company vehicles, ensuring compliance with established inventory control best practices. This role requires weekly travel to various sites to perform audits, analyze inventory data, and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate records. The auditor partners closely with stakeholders and internal teams to communicate findings, resolve issues, and support operational efficiencies. Success in this role involves strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to identify and implement process improvements. Candidates should be comfortable travel requirements, working in diverse environments and performing physical tasks while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracy.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Complete full physical inventory counts of warehouses and company vehicles on a bi-quarterly basis or as needed.
  • Travel to various sites, via plane and car, to perform inventory counts and analysis.
  • Utilize field inventory control best practices.
  • Schedule counts, ensure accuracy of counts, investigate, and analyze discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and teammates.

The gross hourly range is $24.00 - $25 00. Plus this role has overtime and bonus opportunities. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with inventory, warehousing, or supply chain.
  • Understanding of field inventory control best practices.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Ability to travel weekly M - T/F.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Critical thinker and team player.
  • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • Valid driver license.
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and kneel for periods of time.
  • Ability to work in various environments, such as stores or warehouses and outside with potential exposure to cold and heat.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and use ladders/step stools.
