Job description

Code and Theory is looking for a Workfront Implementation Senior Project Manager to lead end to end agency deployments from discovery through go live. This role requires strong project leadership combined with deep functional and technical knowledge of Workfront to properly sequence configuration, integrations, and dependencies. The Project Manager ensures delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned to foundational governance standards.
What You'll Do
  • Own the full project lifecycle from initial discovery through go-live and transition to support, driving the overarching schedule and stage-gate checkpoints
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, leveraging deep functional and technical knowledge of Workfront to accurately sequence configuration and integration dependencies
  • Lead structured project cadences-including status meetings, design reviews, and stage-gate approvals-ensuring all documentation, deliverables, and approvals are complete before progressing to the next phase
  • Actively manage the project backlog and coordinate seamlessly with Hypercare & Enhancement, and Foundational Governance pods
  • Partner closely with the System Architect to capture foundational impacts and correctly route all system change requests through the formal Change Control process
  • Proactively identify, document, and escalate project risks, scope creep, and resource gaps early to protect the delivery timeline
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with agency partners to level-set delivery expectations and ensure total alignment on project goals

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years experience leading Workfront implementations
  • Strong technical understanding of Workfront configuration and integration sequencing
  • Proven ability to manage complex backlogs and coordinate cross-functional technical pods
  • Strong risk management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deployments
  • Demonstrated experience leading delivery in a global, distributed environment (multiple regions/time zones), including remote facilitation and asynchronous decision-making

The base compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 and spans multiple levels. We're open to hiring at the level that best matches the right candidate's experience. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, budget, and location.
