Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Social Media Manager - Gaming.
Responsibilities:
* Lead social planning and execution forour client's program on social media, ensuring alignment with the broader brand voice, social strategy, and business objectives
* Partner closely with Product Marketing Integrated Marketing teams to understand priorities, timelines, and success metrics, and translate them into effective social approaches and content plans
* Serve as a strategic connector between business objectives and creative execution, shaping briefs and recommendations that enable the Creative Team to deliver culturally relevant, highly engaging social content
* Maintain a strong pulse on culture, platform trends, and creator ecosystems, identifying opportunities to authentically connect cultural moments to campaigns
* Perform day-to-day social operations, including content planning, calendar management, copy development, publishing, community engagement, and light moderation, ensuring a high-quality and consistent presence across channels
* Create, curate, and elevate content at scale, highlighting creators, U and community moments to drive engagement, discovery, and sustained interest
* Track and interpret social performance across initiatives, contributing to campaign reporting and dashboards while using data and insights to optimize content and demonstrate impact against team goals
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, or related field and 2+ years public relations, marketing, community management, social media management, communications, or related experience, or 4+ years of public relations, marketing, community management, social media management, communications, or related experience or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience in social media strategy planning, goal setting, and implementation
* 1-2 years of experience in education sector
* 1+ year(s) of product-relevant industry experience (e.g., gaming, entertainment).
* Experience managing high volume social media channels for well-known video game publishers, video game equipment manufacturers or similar organizations within/supporting gaming sector is mandatory
* Exceptional knowledge of social media, which means you stay up to date with trends and know how to translate to specific audiences
* Ability to influence without authority
* Competent with Office 365 and analytics tools (Sprinklr and native social media analytics experience preferred)
* Copywriting experience for social media and an ability to easily adapt to tone of voice
* Excellent data analysis and storytelling skills
* Excellent project management skills
* Ability to demonstrate social creativity with products
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
