Rite Rug has been one of the top privately owned, flooring companies, since 1934! We are looking for a motivated, detail oriented, Field Representative to join our team! If you are looking for a company where you are part of family, then Rite Rug is the place for you!
$50,000 to $55,000 a year, plus mileage agreement! Salary based on experience.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Field Representative's primary job function takes place outside of the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. They are checking job readiness, checking on the installers doing the work and verifying that everything gets done, and doing the little things to button up whatever is outstanding. They are field measuring and checking work orders to make sure we have the right quantities of materials ordered and we have materials to cover all the areas in the installations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basis
  • Drive from jobsite to jobsite - planning and prioritizing each day
  • Schedule work to be done in an efficient manor
  • Determine best method of installations and repairs
  • Ensure the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction
  • Respond to any complaints or questions regarding installations
  • Pick up and deliver materials as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Flooring Installation experience a plus! Construction experience is helpful.
  • Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices.
  • Be able to work independently and problem solve.
  • Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
  • Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.
  • Must be a good communicator.
  • Required to pass drug test and subject to random test
