Duration: 6+ months

Location: 3403 East Vista Boulevard Lake Buena Vista FL 32830

Field Representative - still a need, does not need overqualified. 4- 8 years with commercial experience not residential

Resumes needed ASAP - candidate must have field experience in a construction environment (no Director, VP, President level candidates please). Experience in a commercial environment is required. 

Resource will have to drive to multiple sites throughout the same day. Mileage is reimbursed. Client provides safety glasses, hard hat and vest. Work boots will have to be supplied by Resource (Steel Toed not required). Will not utilize machinery, tools or do any lifting. Please note that there are physical requirements of the job which include but are not limited to: must be able to climb stairs, scaffolding and ladders; maneuver through confined spaces and stand for long periods of times to inspect a process. Will be taking documentation on contractors/subcontractors to make sure they are adhering to safety requirements and processes. Functions as the Owner's Rep. supervising the performance of construction for multiple projects in order to assist with maintaining schedules and within budgets for each. Will recommend change orders and directives from the field. Attend pre & post bid scope reviews to provide any information as needed. Construct-ability reviews on projects in design phases. Evaluate project drawings & schedules to optimize Owner's benefit. Assist contractor in scheduling utilities. Development of Schedules of Values. Review long lead items & purchasing of Owner furnished items with project representative. Liaison between team members, contractor, and operators. Monitor for Building Code compliance. Safety monitoring. Review/interpret special contract conditions. Ensure that procedures & materials comply with plans, specs, and approved submittals. Assist in negotiating proposed changes with Architects/Engineers/Contractors. Generate and/or review daily field reports and directive information/scope. Monitor coordination of all trades to complete project on schedule. Review pay applications. Track and follow up on RFI's. Partner in evaluation of proposed back charges to contractors. Prepare punch list and monitor completion. Participate in the completion of contractor evaluations. Secure close out documents/attend post postmortems. Work with Project Management to secure Certification of Occupancy

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications 

(7) Years of construction supervision experience or Journeyman's license / Associates degree in related field and (4) Years of Construction supervision experience. Working knowledge of project management process and construction contracting. Strong blueprint reading skills. Experience in various types of renovation projects. Ability to generate / forecast construction schedules. Candidate should be open to working 3rd shift when needed.
