An executive personal assistant handles the daily organizational and administrative duties for an executive or corporate manager in a company or corporation. It is their job to oversee the management of the executive’s schedule, arrange meetings, and perform clerical tasks. Most executive assistant positions require a GED certificate or high school diploma. Some employers will prefer a college education and seek candidates with an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or management. A master’s degree or higher is not needed for this role. An executive personal assistant needs exceptional customer service skills and must be highly organized.
