About the Role
Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a full-time Executive Sales Assistant to work out of our corporate office in Bremerton. This position is responsible for the sales and administrative support to the financial advisors, responds to client inquiries (verbally or in writing), monitors accounts, and enters trades as requested. The Executive Sales Assistant will also perform client servicing and records administration as well as assist with new business initiatives as assigned.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
Bonus Target: 5% potential incentive of base pay

Principal Accountabilities
  • Research, follow-up, and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, account custodians, professional consultants, and other staff in a timely and professional manner, escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Assist with phone calls to prospects and clients, schedule client-related appointments, and coordinate client mailings/invitations, attend client meetings both in person and phone as needed.
  • Place equity, mutual fund, and fixed income trades for brokerage clients, process money market movements or account maintenance at custodian system.
  • Prepare and ensure new business paperwork processes that may include preparing forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, preparing documentation and facilitating rollovers.
  • Act as liaison between branches and investment services team.
  • Coordinate marketing activities for investment services program.
  • Conduct audits and reports ensuring the department is compliant with state, federal, and local governments.
  • Coordinate and submit commission and expense reports.
  • Receive and sort mail; deposit checks at both KCU and other financial institutions, may include driving personal vehicle.
  • Stay up to date on continuing education courses as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must register and provide fingerprints, pass background check with LPL Registration Department, within first 15 days in the position.
  • Two years of increasingly responsible administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Education
  • Current FINRA Series 7, 63 & 65 or 66 preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred.

Supervisory Status
This position does not supervise others.
Working Conditions
This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 75% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machines.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs,
  • Constantly positions self in work environment,
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with peers, supervisors, vendors and employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions,
  • Must be able to detect objects at a distance,
  • On occasion will move up to 20 pounds of office objects,
  • Works in an indoor office environment but expected to attend meetings in buildings that require travel in outdoor weather conditions.
