Your key role as a Sales Coordinator is to attract talent, coach, mentor, and supervise a team of sales professionals. Sales Coordinators report directly to the Territory Coordinator.

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and assist with selection of potential independent agent candidates.
  • Develop, train, and manage a team of independent insurance sales agents.
  • Manage and oversee new business sales goals.
  • Counsel and supervise client retention.
  • Work with and assist independent insurance agents with sales and service.

Sales Coordinator Skills and Qualification:

  • Self-starter with drive and determination.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Sales Coordinator Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience required.
  • Management experience required.
  • Travel within Territory office trade area.
  • Current Full Life, Health, and Accident insurance license required or will acquire within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to utilize Zoom and Microsoft Office suite including Chrome, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Position may require occasional out of town travel.
  • There will be meetings where attendance is mandatory.

Ability to reach high and low; open, close and retrieve files from file cabinets as well as operate computer keyboard and appropriate office equipment. The position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, sit for long periods of time, lift up to 15 lbs., open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
