Job description

This position has a main goal to remain available and visible during all events hosted at the Bodacious Shops and to answer any questions and respond to any client concerns in a friendly and professional manner. This position will support attendee experience and retention, helping them to derive the best value from the event. The Event Assistant will fulfill any other duties the senior leader and/or supervisor assigns and will represent the Bodacious Shops and 5eleven in a professional manner in adherence to all company policies and standards of behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable.
  • Read and analyze banquet event order in order to gather guest information, determine proper set up, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc.
  • Assist with washing dishes, polishing plates, and other cleaning/maintenance tasks to ensure smooth event execution
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Manage all pre-event and post-event checklist and file them accordingly.
  • Document any issues from event and report them to supervisor within a 24-hour time frame.
  • Ensure that safety precautions are being taken.
  • Demonstrate explementary hospitality while working with all clients and vendors throughout the event.
  • Perform routine security checks of all spaces on site.
  • Maintain all spaces throughout the event to ensure it is in the best possible shape for presentation.
