Job Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Custom Entry Writer to join our dynamic logistics and compliance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting accurate customs documentation to ensure seamless import and export processes. Your expertise will help maintain regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, support supply chain efficiency, and mitigate risks associated with international trade. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to global trade operations while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to excellence.

Duties

  • Prepare and review customs entries, declarations, and related documentation in accordance with international trade regulations and company policies
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, FDA regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements for import activities
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers to facilitate smooth clearance processes
  • Conduct Excel data analysis to track shipment statuses, identify discrepancies, and generate detailed reports for management
  • Oversee customs clearance management by verifying documentation accuracy and ensuring timely submission of required paperwork
  • Assist in risk management by identifying potential compliance issues and implementing corrective actions proactively

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards, FDA regulations, and trade compliance laws including OFAC guidelines
