Position Title: Entry Level Tech Support

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Max Pay Rates: $21/hr on W2 or $25/hr on 1099

Start Date: Immediate

The Desktop Integration Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and supporting the integration of end‐user computing environments during company mergers and system consolidations. This role ensures a secure, standardized, and seamless desktop experience for employees while minimizing disruption to business operations. The specialist will work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. You must have 2+ years’ demonstrable skills & experience in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities.

  • Perform desktop and laptop migrations, rebuilds, and reconfigurations
  • Migrate user profiles, data, and applications with minimal disruption
  • Troubleshoot endpoint, authentication, and application issues
  • Support dual‐environment coexistence during phased integrations
  • Install and support VPN, security, and collaboration tools
  • Provide desktop support during and after migration
  • Follow and update migration runbooks and operational documentation
  • Align identity, access, and security policies for endpoint devices
  • Support coexistence and phased migration strategies
  • Collaborate with security, networking, and service desk teams
  • Develop automation, documentation, and migration runbooks
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage work queue in company ticketing system.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by the IT manager.

Requirements.

  • Hands‐on experience supporting Windows 10/11 endpoints
  • Experience with Intune, MECM/SCCM, and Group Policy
  • User profile and data migration experience
  • Active Directory and Entra ID operational support
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Experience with MacOS and iOS administration
  • Experience with security software such as Multi-factor authentication, Antivirus, web filtering, encryption, etc.
  • Experience with large-scale desktop and M&A integrations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and courteous demeanor and attire.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
