Job description

Seasonal IT Support Specialist

Support - Position - Seasonal Technology Specialist 

Seasonal IT Support Specialist will work in a Chromebook and macOS  environment 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education and Experience

  1. Valid driver's license and vehicle
  2. Experience with the following is preferred:
    1. Education technology
    2. Ability to learn new and leading technologies

B. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  1. Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, with ability to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions

C. Knowledge of:

  1. Computer hardware, software, and peripherals
  2. Procedures for installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing applicable software, hardware, and peripherals

D. Skills:

  1. Collaborative growth mindset
  2. Installing, configuring, and upgrading operating systems and software using standard application practices
  3. Troubleshooting and solving hardware and software problems
  4. Using initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines and procedures
  5. Organizing own work, setting priorities, and meeting critical time deadlines
  6. Communicating effectively with co-workers and staff

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Under the supervision of the director of technology, the technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and upgrades computer hardware, software, and performs related work as required.
  2. Installs, configures, and upgrades operating systems and software using standard processes.
  3. Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network, and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required.
  4. Assists with the inventory of hardware and software.

Other technical duties under the responsibility of the director of technology and other duties as assigned
PAYay:
$15.00 / HR for up to 30 hours per week total.
