Reports To: Technology Director or Technology Staff
Position Summary
City View ISD is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to assist the Technology Department with summer projects and district technology support. This temporary position helps prepare student and staff devices, classrooms, and technology systems for the upcoming school year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with Chromebook, laptop, and desktop setup, cleaning, inventory, and deployment
  • Collecting, organizing, and preparing student devices for check-in and checkout
  • Moving, installing, and organizing technology equipment and peripherals
  • Assisting with classroom technology setup, including computers, monitors, projectors, and interactive displays
  • Organizing storage rooms, technology inventory, and surplus equipment
  • Labeling, asset tagging, and documenting district technology equipment
  • Assisting with basic troubleshooting and technology support tasks under staff supervision
  • Running cables and assisting with minor technology installations as needed
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas
  • Following district safety procedures and technology guidelines at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of computers, Chromebooks, or technology equipment preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality required
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move technology equipment and boxes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Working Conditions
  • Frequent walking, lifting, bending, and moving equipment
  • Work performed indoors with occasional outdoor work between campuses
