Entry-Level Physical Therapy Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Physical Therapy Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist. This entry-level position is ideal for someone interested in healthcare administration, medical billing, revenue cycle management, or insurance processing.

The specialist will support the billing and collections process for outpatient physical therapy services while learning the fundamentals of medical billing, insurance verification, claims management, and patient account resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Submit and track insurance claims for physical therapy services
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims with insurance carriers
  • Assist with payment posting and accounts receivable management
