Accounts Receivable Assistant

Secaucus NJ

This is temp to hire – 3 to 6 months depending on performance

pay:$24/hr-W2

About The Role

The Accounts Receivable Assistant supports all accounting personnel to ensure accounting functions are completed for clients. The Accounts Receivable Assistant performs day-to-day invoice submission to customers.


What You Will Do

  • Reviews sales orders against customer purchase orders before shipments being released
  • Handles invoice submissions via email, customer web portals, or via EDI transmission.
  • Maintain accurate customer files including keeping records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files, name changes, address changes and credit risks and relaying this information to the appropriate personnel.
  • Others assignment by AR manager.


What You Bring

Knowledge and skills:

  • MS office – Word and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and/or business operations

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Good communication skills (oral and written) and a positive working attitude
