Sunbelt Home Solutions is a fast-growing home improvement company serving homeowners throughout Florida. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in St. Petersburg.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who has a basic understanding of A/R and A/P and is ready to learn. Extensive experience isn't required. We're willing to train and develop the right person who brings attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to grow.

What You'll Do
  • Enter daily customer invoices, vendor bills, and credit card charges
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on payment delays or discrepancies
  • Apply customer payments and maintain accurate A/R records
  • Reconcile A/R, A/P, and credit card accounts at month-end
  • Work with our sales and customer service teams to resolve billing questions
  • Communicate with our production team regarding subcontractor and vendor issues
  • Help maintain accurate and organized financial records
What We're Looking For
  • Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable preferred, but not required
  • Entry-level accounting experience or relevant education is welcome
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable communicating with different departments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • QuickBooks experience is preferred
  • Lead Perfection experience is a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and continue developing your accounting skills
