Job description

Power-Flo Technologies is hiring an Entry Level Accounts Receivable Clerk. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial and operational health of Power-Flo Technologies while strengthening customer connections.

This is an entry level position. On the job training is provided.

This is a full-time, on-site role. Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Perform invoice creation, credit memos, and cash receipt posting
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments and perform timely collection efforts
  • Process all customer payments accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate with internal staff regarding customer payments and any issues that might prevent a timely resolution
  • Research billing issues/discrepancies and make account adjustments
  • Prepare reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles
  • Analyze financial records for accuracy
  • Prepare and mail invoices to customers


Accounts Receivable Basic Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Strong basic mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Computer savvy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to follow up
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Eager to learn
  • Valid and clean NYS driver's license to make trips to the bank and post office as needed


Physical Ability Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time (with accommodations upon request)

Salary Range: $17 - $19/hour
