Assignment Type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description
Addison Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist for a growing organization in the Cerritos area. This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable activities, resolving billing discrepancies, supporting collections efforts, and ensuring the timely processing of customer transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve customer billing issues, payment discrepancies, and account-related inquiries.
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate invoicing and timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor customer accounts and assist with collection activities to reduce outstanding balances.
  • Research and resolve invoice disputes to improve payment turnaround and customer satisfaction.
  • Process account adjustments, credit-related requests, and account maintenance activities.
  • Review and release customer orders in accordance with company policies and established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by documenting procedures and recommending workflow enhancements.
  • Utilize customer portals and other systems to research payment issues and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and customer account management.
  • Experience researching and resolving billing discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
