Job description

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Mundelein, IL

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000, based on experience

Roadster Shop is one of the most respected names in the automotive performance industry, designing and manufacturing industry-leading chassis and building award-winning vehicles. We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team and help support our continued growth.

This position is responsible for customer invoicing, collections, account maintenance, sales tax administration, reporting, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

Manage customer invoicing, payment processing, collections, account maintenance, credit memos, account adjustments, sales tax documentation, reporting, and account reconciliations. You'll work closely with our Sales, Operations, Shipping, and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy and provide outstanding customer support.

Qualifications Required
  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience working with accounting or ERP systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred
  • Sales tax experience, including exemption certificates and multi-state reporting
  • Global Shop Solutions experience
  • Manufacturing accounting experience
  • Accounts Payable experience
  • Logistics, shipping, or order processing experience
