Our client, a growing consumer products (CPG)/retail company in North Austin, is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. Responsibilities:
  • Own the full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
  • Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment runs accurately and timely.
  • Generate customer invoices, apply cash receipts, and manage collections as needed.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and account variances.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
  • Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure timely processing and resolution of accounting matters.
  • Assist with process improvements and help streamline accounting workflows.
  • Support additional accounting projects and initiatives as the company continues to grow.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or a blended AR/AP role.
  • Experience managing the full-cycle AR and AP processes.
  • NetSuite experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience within a consumer products (CPG), retail, manufacturing, or distribution environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems.
  • A positive, team-first attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively while also taking ownership of their responsibilities.
