Job description

This role offers hybrid work flexibility, with site visits and in-person meetings

Are you ready to join a growing engineering consulting firm with a strong gas utility team supporting clients across multiple industries? Entrust Solutions Group is expanding and seeking talented engineers to support high-pressure gas distribution and transmission projects. Our Gas Programs team is at the forefront of utility infrastructure, working on main replacements, public improvements, pipelines, regulator stations, and trenchless installations.

As a Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with project engineers and designers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. You’ll perform engineering calculations, design pipeline routes, and develop construction estimates. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career while contributing to meaningful infrastructure projects in a supportive and close-knit office environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Must have valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional project visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0-4 years of natural gas engineering experience, preferably at an engineering consulting firm.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation or other 2D and 3D modeling software (drafting will likely not be part of your role, but experience with the software our drafters and designers use is still very valuable).

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and encourages innovation.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • This position pays between $68,000 and $73,000 annually and is an exempt position. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.
  • Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
