Job description

POSITION VACANCY
POSITION: Elementary Secretary
LOCATION: Haugen Elementary
DATE OF POSTING: July 2, 2026
START DATE: August 10, 2026
RATE OF PAY: $21.59/hour
HOURS: 8 hours/day, 10 months/year and part-time office support when summer
school is in session.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma and secretarial experience or training. Experience
working with elementary students preferred. A skills test will be
administered as part of the hiring process.
DESCRIPTION: The preferred candidate will be able to maintain a professional office
environment while greeting students, staff and visitors in a friendly
manner. The secretary must be able to multitask and be able to maintain
confidentiality. In addition, the secretary is responsible for working with
students and families on pre-excused absences and health related
