Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Supports operations in maintaining proper inventory counts and product codes to ensure compliance with established internal control procedures. Directs and consolidates inventory for maximum storage and utilization of space.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reviews orders and receiving documents in the AS400 system and insure accuracy and proper documentation.
* Monitor and submit daily receiving log and all daily inventory control paperwork.
* Monitor, report, and reconcile any receiving discrepancies or damaged shipments.
* Researches all inventory discrepancies from AS400 or discrepancies from on-hand quantities.
* Maintain sanitation and housekeeping in work area
* Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Ability to work overtime during the week or on weekends.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
* Experience with WMS systems.
* Good understanding of warehouse operations.
* Resourceful, well organized and dependable.
* Excellent communication skills.

The employee is frequently required to walk with alternate standing. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a dry or refrigerated warehouse (with temperatures ranging from 30 to below zero) environment . The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
