Document Control Clerk
Location: Marysville, OH
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Marysville, OH. This position plays a critical role in managing and maintaining document records, supporting inventory tracking, and ensuring compliance with company document retention policies.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience working in a professional office environment. This role requires close coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the accurate handling, storage, and delivery of important company records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Run reports related to document delivery schedules and record management.
  • Coordinate the efficient and accurate delivery and pickup of documents.
  • Update and maintain inventory status within records management systems.
  • Communicate delivery issues or changes in delivery locations to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support physical inventory activities and provide end-user support for records management systems.
  • Perform complex database queries to track records and meet internal customer needs.
  • Prepare documents for imaging and support daily quality checks of scanned records.
  • Perform document imaging using scanners and records management software.
  • Support records disposal processes for documents eligible for destruction.
  • ssist with document retention schedules and ensure departments follow company retention policies.
  • Periodically review records management representatives and processes.
  • Monitor and coordinate document delivery and pickup with approved vendors.
  • Provide feedback on work instructions or procedures that may require updates.
  • Manage workload independently, prioritizing tasks and projects effectively.
  • Communicate with internal clients to ensure document management needs are met.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive documents.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
