Job description

As a CRO Specialist, you will own the day-to-day execution of our web experimentation program - and to be the analytical engine that powers it. This role sits within our broader Web UX team and is responsible for the full testing lifecycle: from behavioral research and hypothesis development to experiment setup, QA, and post-test reporting.

You'll be our resident expert in Webflow Optimize, a close partner to the Manager of UX Design & CRO, and the person who ensures every experiment we run is well-designed, rigorously tracked, and thoroughly documented. This isn't just a button-pushing role; we're looking for someone who brings genuine curiosity about user behavior, strong analytical instincts, and the operational discipline to keep a high-velocity testing program running smoothly.

What Will You Do?ย

Primary responsibilities include:ย

Behavioral Research & Insight

  • Analyze heatmaps, session recordings, FullStory, and GA4 to identify friction points, drop-off patterns, and conversion opportunities across the site
  • Document behavioral findings and translate them into clear, prioritized observations that inform test ideas, UX improvements, and design decisions
  • Surface insights to the broader web team to contribute to UX strategy - not just the testing pipeline

Test Ideation & Hypothesis Development

  • Generate data-backed test ideas and write structured hypotheses that clearly articulate the problem, proposed change, and expected outcome
  • Collaborate with the Manager to align the test backlog with the CRO strategy and business priorities
  • Track prior experiments to build on learnings and avoid redundancy

Testing Roadmap & Pipeline Execution

  • Own and maintain the monthly testing roadmap, keeping it accurate and prioritized
  • Manage every test through the full pipeline - brief, Asana ticket creation, design coordination, dev handoff, QA, launch, and monitoring
  • Maintain clear documentation and ticket hygiene so stakeholders always have visibility into test status

Experiment Setup & QA

  • Configure all experiments in Webflow Optimize, including audience segmentation, traffic allocation, goal tracking, and variant logic
  • Own pre-launch QA across devices and browsers, verifying tracking, rendering, and experiment logic
  • Monitor live tests for data quality and flag anomalies or early signals to the Manager

Webflow Optimize Expertise

  • Serve as the team's go-to expert on Webflow Optimize - understanding its full capabilities and best practices
  • Stay current on platform updates and proactively identify ways to run more sophisticated experiments
  • Train or support other team members on the tool as needed

Reporting & Knowledge Management

  • Write a detailed post-test report for every experiment - results, statistical significance, segment analysis, and a clear win/loss/inconclusive call
  • Maintain the CRO testing deck as an organized, up-to-date knowledge base that the wider company can reference
  • Partner with the Manager on site-wide KPI tracking and contribute to monthly and quarterly performance reporting
What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 2-4 years of experience in CRO, digital marketing, UX research, or web analytics
  • Hands-on experience setting up and managing A/B tests in an experimentation platform (Webflow Optimize, Optimizely, VWO, or similar)
  • Proficiency with behavioral analytics tools (FullStory, Hotjar, or equivalent) and comfort with heatmaps and session recordings
  • Working knowledge of GA4 for funnel analysis and performance tracking
  • Strong written communication skills - able to write clear hypotheses, experiment briefs, and post-test reports
  • Organized and process-oriented, with experience managing multiple workstreams or projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret experiment data and translate it into actionable recommendations
  • Experience working within a B2B SaaS or enterprise marketing organization
