Job description

Skechers is seeking a full-time Conversion Rate Optimization Manager to help drive continuous improvement across our ecommerce website. This role is responsible for driving a roadmap of CRO activities to help inform the business teams and product roadmap.
As part of our focus on iterative and continuous improvement, in this role you'll work with various teams to analyze/optimize the user experience with the ultimate goal of streamlining the customer experience and improving onsite engagement and conversion rates. You'll monitor and provide insights related to UX behaviors, site usability, and conversion patterns. This role is primarily responsible for the US e-commerce website; however, site improvements will be scaled globally to international Skechers domains making it an exciting time to be part of the Skechers Digital Team!
Applicants should be well versed in CRO and multivariate testing and familiar with Google Analytics and A/B testing platforms such as Optimize, Monetate, Dynamic Yield, or Optimizely, etc.
This role is based in Manhattan Beach, CA on a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of the CRO program, including test ideation, prioritization, execution, analysis, and optimization.
  • Analyze site performance, customer behavior, and digital journeys to identify friction points and high-impact opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, and revenue.

  • Build and manage the CRO testing roadmap, facilitating internal planning and prioritization sessions with key stakeholders.

  • Manage the CRO agency relationship, overseeing test development, execution, timelines, quality, and performance.

  • Partner closely with Product, UX/UI, Content teams to develop and implement A/B tests and customer experience enhancements.

  • Combine quantitative and qualitative insights to develop clear hypotheses, identify opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Own test measurement and analysis, clearly communicating results, learnings, business impact, and recommended next steps to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Translate successful test learnings into scalable experience improvements that elevate the customer journey and overall digital brand experience.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert across CRO and experimentation tools, including Monetate, Google Analytics, and Quantum Metric, helping Product teams make data-informed customer experience decisions.

  • Oversee the technical quality of experimentation, including test configuration, tagging, QA, targeting rules, and platform integrations, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

  • Maintain CRO reporting and performance cadences that provide visibility into the testing pipeline, results, key learnings, and program impact.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 3-5 years in managing Conversion Rate Optimization and behavioral analytics

  • Strong command of A/B testing, multivariate testing, and structured experimentation frameworks

  • Experience with and strong understanding of with eCommerce or retail industry benchmarks and consumers

  • Ability to understand detailed information and effectively summarize the business impact for various stakeholders

  • Previous experience working with CRO Platforms (Monetate, Dynamic Yield, Optimizely, etc.)

  • Strong Experience with on-site behavioral analytics tools (Quantum Metrics, LogRocket, Fullstory, etc.)

  • Ability to create polished PowerPoint or Keynote presentations and artifacts for leadership audiences

  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and Synthesize feedback into actionable insights and present findings to product, CX, marketing, and executive teams to influence roadmap and business strategyOther duties as assigned.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • BA or BS.

  • 3+ years of CRO experience managing A/B testing programs

  • Knowledge of Monetate (preferred) or other tools (Google Optimize, Monetate, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, etc.)

  • Deep analytical mindset that is obsessed with tracking and improving E-Commerce

  • 5 years of working experience managing web analytics and delivering dashboards

  • Experience with GTM, Data Layers, and basic HTML/CSS/Javascript knowledge

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and drive meaningful business outcomes

  • Self-starter, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

  • Experience in UX research is a plus

The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000/yr USD.
