Job Summary

The Marketing Analytics Specialist executes facts-based analysis and reporting that unearths actionable insights and drives decision-making across the marketing department. This position is responsible for executing best practices for tracking and data collection for marketing performance. The Marketing Analytics Specialist will also be responsible for visualizing our data by generating reports and dashboards in Tableau that will inform strategic and tactical optimizations and decisions. You’ll take ownership of the entire analytics workflow—from data collection and integration to visualization and insight generation. This position will work closely with others on the marketing team to identify areas that can produce the greatest impact.


Schedule Details

  • Location: On-site at one of our office locations (Laguna Hills or Beverly Hills, CA) 
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM 


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of marketing performance tracking systems from end to end—including data collection, transformation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Partner with the marketing and engineering teams to build end-to-end tracking, measurement, and visualization of marketing performance.
  • Independently gather, aggregate, and analyze media and marketing data to provide meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for marketing team and pharmacy operations.
  • Manipulate, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources, including native media platforms and third-party data sources.
  • Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI to visualize marketing KPIs across campaigns and channels.
  • Create custom reports and automate recurring reporting tasks, reducing manual work and improving efficiency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business goals and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and testing.
  • Guide the team on measurement strategy and ensure consistent, clean, and accurate data collection across platforms.
  • Working daily with business intelligence and analytics software such as Tableau, Looker Studio or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Spot opportunities to implement new methodologies, tools, and processes to improve marketing analytics.
  • Monitor digital marketing trends and benchmarks to support innovation and strategic planning.


Required Qualifications

  • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently—self-starter mindset with a track record of building analytics solutions from the ground up.
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting systems using Looker Studio, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization, modeling, and storytelling.
  • Knowledge of modern data software, trends and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of modern analytics tools and platforms such as Looker Studio, BigQuery, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively seeking out solutions and opportunities.


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a marketing analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence role
  • Experience working with large datasets, especially using SQL and tools like BigQuery


Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Analytics 4 Certification
  • Tableau Certifications
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and/or other tagging frameworks
  • Familiarity with marketing attribution models and A/B testing methodologies
  • Previous experience working closely with both marketing and engineering teams
  • Experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industry is a plus
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., paid search, display, social, email)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest in AI tools, and have a good understanding of when and how to apply them to business analytics use cases.
