About the Role

The Key Account Manager is responsible for delivering business results while building strong, value‑driven relationships with key central accounts, including Spartan, Schnucks, Certco, Banner, Piggly Wiggly Midwest, Lipari, and Winkler.

This role will focus on our Spreads portfolio, the expansion of the Violife Dairy‑Free Cheese brand, and growth across emerging categories such as Coffee Creamers. Success in this position requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to influence internally and externally, and proven experience managing major accounts within the CPG industry.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver profit, volume, distribution, and other agreed‑upon KPIs across assigned accounts
  • Develop and execute customer‑specific sales plans for both existing business and new growth initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong, value‑enhancing relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Lead contractual negotiations, ensuring maximum ROI and alignment with Flora Food US objectives
  • Partner closely with Advantage Solutions (broker partner) to evaluate performance, monitor trends, and execute plans effectively
  • Analyze business performance and customer data to identify risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure flawless execution

About You

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven experience in direct account management within CPG sales, including broker management
  • Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills
  • Highly developed planning and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of P&L management, financial projections, and performance metrics
  • Experience with sales planning systems
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Willingness and ability to travel for customer visits and team meetings
