Responsibilities
Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a talented and dynamic Regional Account Manager - Patriot Support to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for representing all Patriot Support Programs within an assigned region, serving as the primary liaison for referrals and outreach on behalf of UHS Patriot Support designated facilities. Under the direction of the Divisional Director of Military Programs, this role builds brand trust to position UHS Patriot Support locations as the provider of choice for behavioral health services within the TRICARE and VA networks. Key responsibilities include conducting service recovery activities, traveling to military and veteran referral sources, attending meetings and conferences, and engaging with key stakeholders to promote program services. Additionally, this position provides staff training and shares updates on legislative, policy, and procedural changes relevant to behavioral health care for military and veteran populations.
This role actively collaborates with leadership at current and future Patriot Support locations to ensure adherence to established procedures and standards. It also works closely with Business Development teams within the region to develop, monitor, and execute the TRICARE/VA strategic plan. This includes performing market gap analyses and studying customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth and service delivery. Coordination with the National Call Center is essential to manage incoming referrals and facilitate timely admissions, especially for new sources requiring immediate follow-up.
Military experience may be considered relevant for this position if it includes working knowledge of sales techniques, such as those used in military recruiting and familiarity with military and veteran behavioral health support agencies and processes.
Candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered for this position: NY, PA, WV, OH, IN or MI
Essential Job Duties Responsibilities:
  • Reports directly to the Divisional Patriot Support Director, develops growth strategies for military and VA across the BH Division, specifically in the assigned Region.
  • Represents the full extent of the Patriot Support and UHS Products. Provides direct account management and marketing to key decision makers and referral sources at military installations and VA access points as assigned.
  • I dentifies and develops new referral relationships - additive accounts to current known customers to UHS.
  • Assists facility-based Business Development staff on relationship development with key military and VA stakeholders as needed.
  • Actively identifies opportunities for new program and service line development with assigned installations.
