Job description

Vyve Broadband is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Business Account Manager to support the growth and retention of our commercial customer base. This role is responsible for managing strategic existing accounts while also driving new business acquisition within assigned markets. The Business Account Manager serves as a trusted advisor to customers, delivering consultative solutions that align with client needs across Vyve’s portfolio of connectivity, UCaaS, and managed services. Successful candidates are proficient in MS Office, Salesforce CRM, detail oriented, possess the ability to work independently, success-driven, have a great positive attitude and have outstanding communications skills.  Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Sales ideally in the Telecom or Technology industry. Candidate will utilize personal vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement. Valid insurance coverage and driver’s license required.

Primary Responsibilities
Account Management

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of Vyve’s largest and most strategic business customers.
  • Develop and execute account growth plans focused on retention, expansion, and revenue optimization.
  • Conduct regular customer check-ins and business reviews to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
 
New Revenue Generation
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline through consistent prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
 
Solution Sales
  • Present and position Vyve’s suite of services including:
    • Fiber-based Internet and Connectivity
    • Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)
    • Managed Network and Technology Services
  • Partner with internal teams such as Sales Engineering, Operations, and Implementation to deliver customized solutions.
 
Sales Operations & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and sales activity within CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed established revenue and performance goals.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to leadership.
 
Qualifications 
Required
  • 2+ years of sales, account management, or related experience.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
Preferred
  • Experience in telecommunications, fiber connectivity, UCaaS, or managed services.
  • B2B Sales Experience
  • Experience managing mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
