Overview

Account Planning (aka, Brand Planning) at Digitas Health is focused on uncovering insights that build brand strategy and inspire creativity. As integral partners on multi-functional teams, Planners collaborate with creative and engagement strategy partners to shape the brand vision and experience. Account Planning is a proud part of the DH Creative organization.

The ideal Director candidate has at least 8 years experience as a brand planner or strategist in a creative agency or marketing consultancy. An ability to do exceptional thinking in brand strategy (e.g., positioning, analysis, insights) and, the briefing skills to effectively write and manage the briefing to clients and creative teams alike.

We seek planners who are curious, collaborative and tenacious in their pursuit of insight.

Responsibilities

The Director, Account Planning has 4 primary responsibilities:

  • Developing insights to unlock brand opportunities through research, analysis and strategic thinking
  • Creating briefs and delivering briefings that inform and inspire creativity
  • Collaborating with clients and partners to identify brand growth opportunities and solve consumer/customer challenges
  • Assessing brand and creative performance through primary and secondary research along with data analytics

ย Additional responsibilities for this position include:

  • Develop and lead creative and strategic workshops and brainstorming sessions
  • Design and execution of qualitative and quantitative market research
  • Relevant trend tracking and creation of agency point-of-view
  • Support business development/account growth strategies
  • Manage direct report and support cross-strategy partners
  • Apply and optimize agency strategy tools and frameworks
  • Build productive collaboration that enables successful teamwork
Qualifications
  • At least 8 years' experience working in marketing and/or strategic services organizations - e.g., general advertising agency account planning group; marketing consultancy, management consulting firm; brand strategy firm
  • Brand strategy experience on large, complex franchise brands or brand portfolios
  • Qualitative and quantitative research experience and expertise
  • Proven skills in uncovering and implementing consumer/customer insights
  • Exceptional writing, communication and influence skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across large, multi-functional teams

ย Compensation Range: USD $106,780.00 - USD $153,405.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
