Job Responsibilities for Account Manager:


- Customer Service

  • Understands how the Rental Agreement works and is able to communicate to the customer as it pertains to their account.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the account status of all assigned customer.
  • Is diligent in the development and training of customers to achieve “on time” payment habits.
  • Comfortable creating payment plans for customers to return to “on time” status
  • Requests help for customers who may need it.
  • Assists the customer with rental order forms and conducting proper order form verifications.
  • Communicates with the customer with respect and professionalism in all forms of communication

- Daily Activities

  • Consistently makes educated business and customer account decisions.
  • Understands and can perform within the established RENT-2-OWN collections system and procedures.
  • Delivers and picks-up products to and from the customer's home as needed in a safe and damage free manner.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on delivery vehicles to ensure top and safe operating conditions.
  • Safely operates the delivery vehicle following all laws, regulations and company procedures.
  • Cleans products that have been returned
  • Understands and utilizes pest preventative measures.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, organized work area.
  • Assists in maintaining the sales floor and back room, ensuring that product is safe, clean, and working properly.
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures for customer approval standards, completing agreements, receiving monies and helping the Store Manager control inventory.
  • Proper delivery & installation of rental merchandise.
  • Performs daily functions as outlined by the Account Manager Schedule
  • Receives product into the store by following the proper inventory receiving and transfer

  • Creates a positive experience for customers.
  • Applies proper down payments and is an advocate for on-time payment habits.
  • Assists the customers with rental order forms and conducts proper order form verifications.
  • Completes the company’s daily solicitation as a minimum standard.
  • Communicates with customers using the customer’s preferred means of communication.

- Sales Floor

  • Maintains the sales floor ensuring that product is clean, working properly, priced and accessorized correctly.
  • Is able to price individual products as well as combined (packaged) products under the direction of the Store Manager.
  • Maintains the customer counter area in a safe, clean, organized condition.
  • Cleans and repairs product as needed.
  • Ensures that store follows current Store Readiness Appearance guidelines

- Asset Control

  • Follows all Company policies and procedures for customer approval standards, recording sales, completing agreements, receiving monies and helping the Store Manager control inventory.
  • Maintains confidential customer and store information within company procedures.
  • The ability to maintain an accurate cash drawer as well as an accurate end of day bank deposit and documentation.
  • Receives product into the store by following the proper inventory receiving and transfer procedures.
