Job Description

Our Digital Sales Leader responsible for the sales of our nanoparticle catalog products primarily by using the telephone and digital tools; but also using email, Internet, and other technology within a defined territory. The Digital Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting net new customers in the academic and diagnostic segments as well as other fields of research and development. The Digital Sales Representative maintains effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.

*Must have the willingness to work in office. We are open to a hybrid schedule after training*

What You'll Do

  • Act in a mentoring capacity to support the career development of other colleagues
  • Focus on 'hunting' for new business opportunities to increase reoccurring revenues in assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed a defined sales plan; forecast sales performance accurately.
  • Make daily outbound telephone calls and communicate via email to all organizational levels and functional areas in accounts where purchasing decisions are made.
  • Capitalize on training opportunities to develop in depth knowledge of product offerings in order to proactively uncover new opportunities within assigned accounts to generate revenue growth.
  • Develop organizational skills to work within cross functional teams to achieve organizational objectives, manage sales territory activities and communicate efforts clearly within other levels of the organization.
  • Understand the competitive landscape within accounts to position like or better product offerings to customers.
  • Communicate key competitive activities, market trends, and changing customer directions to the organization.
  • Utilize data sources to analyze and develop sales opportunities with the greatest ROI.
  • Support marketing programs as assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely and complete manner while maximizing productivity during key selling time.
Qualifications

Education

  • 2-4 years of sales experience preferred
  • Successful track record in applicable field Digital / Inside Sales, selling and driving revenue
  • Bachelor's degree in the sciences preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Background in Biology, Chemistry, or Molecular and Immune Dx Experience preferred


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Must have an understanding of immunoassays.
  • Understanding Lateral Flow Assays is a plus!
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven record of establishing goals and achieving results
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
  • Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer
  • Must deliver excellent customer service
  • Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
