Front Desk Assistant / Administrative Assistant

BizTek People is in search of a Front Desk Assistant / Administrative Assistant for our client in Houston, TX! We are seeking a professional and polished Front Desk Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees in a fast-paced financial services environment. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support day-to-day office and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage conference room reservations and meeting logistics
  • Coordinate with internal teams (administration, facilities, IT, security) as needed
  • Support administrative staff with general office tasks and coverage
  • Assist with travel and expense processing, data entry, and document management
  • Receive mail and packages and assist with office supply coordination

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of administrative or front desk experience (financial services preferred)
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with travel and expense systems (SAP Concur)
