Job Summary and Qualifications

SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Assures satisfaction of customers, (patients, visitors, physician and staff)

2. Assist therapists with patient care.

3. Participates and understands department PI activities

4. Prepares and maintains area for patient treatment.

5. Maintains department supplies and inventories

6. Demonstrates effective communication

7. Demonstrates an understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

8. Promotes cost effective unit operations.

9. Provides support to the staff and director

10. Complies with professional, regulatory, governmental and departmental standards.

11. Maintains patient schedules based on department standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Required: At least High School graduate or equivalent

Required: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider

EXPERIENCE

Preferred: Experience in a therapy area; Clerical skills; Intermediate computer skills/Proficient in use of Microsoft Office; Exposure to medical terminology
