Job Description
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Department Assistant to join our team.
  • Support the team through performing clerical functions such as notifying manager to order supplies and support the department.
  • Answer the department phone.
  • Manage scheduled order report.
  • Manage technologist worklist and schedule appointments.
  • Enter request orders and importing into PACS system.
  • Handle patient request orders.
  • Manage department flow for patients.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • 3-5 years administrative experience.
  • Epic
