Job description

Overview
Carolina Poly, Inc. located in Chester, SC, is seeking a Department Assistant to join the team at our 500,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. Carolina Poly produces several lines of plastic products including high quality trash bags and construction films. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Department Assistants at Carolina Poly are responsible for preparing reports, heavy data entry using MS excel and AS400, screening calls in support of multiple department managers at the company, and possibly assisting with projects. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Willing and able to spend time on the plant manufacturing floor when necessary.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Ability to work independently and complete work with minimal supervision.
  • Provide administrative support to multiple department managers.
  • Professionally handling phone calls and administrative duties.
