ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Customer Development Representative (Account Expansion) to unlock new revenue streams within our existing customer base. While our Customer Success team focuses on retention, your mission is growth. In this role, you will aggressively hunt for "white-space" opportunities-identifying unmet customer needs, pitching new solutions and maximizing account value.
You will partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to analyze usage data, target accounts primed for expansion, and close upsell opportunities. Success is strictly performance-driven and measured by quota attainment, pipeline creation, expansion revenue, and account growth. If you are a competitive self-starter who thrives on uncovering opportunities and closing deals, we want you on our team!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive Expansion Revenue: Proactively prospect, pitch, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within an assigned book of existing Linxup customers to consistently hit and exceed revenue targets
  • Execute High-Volume Outreach: Manage a rigorous outreach cadence leveraging cold/warm phone calls, targeted emails, and social selling to re-engage accounts and uncover new pain points
  • Identify White-Space Opportunities: Analyze customer account data, usage trends, and fleet metrics to strategically target accounts with high potential for hardware upgrades or premium feature adoption
  • Pitch and Position Value: Confidently deliver compelling, value-based product pitches to key decision-makers-including fleet managers and business owners-influencing their buying decisions and expanding their contract value
  • Build a Robust Sales Pipeline: Convert inbound requests, usage triggers, and account health data into qualified sales opportunities, managing the deal cycle efficiently through our CRM
  • Generate Referrals & Network: Actively leverage existing client relationships, industry associations, and networking to generate warm leads and pass net-new opportunities to the broader sales organization
  • Navigate and Close: Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for account growth, expertly handling objections, negotiating terms, and navigating internal processes to speed up deal velocity
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work hand-in-hand with Customer Success and Product teams to align customer expansion goals with our latest product updates and software releases

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1 to 3 years of quota-carrying experience in Inside Sales, Business Development (BDR/SDR), or Growth-Focused Account Management within a SaaS environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field)
  • Proven expertise managing a dense pipeline, tracking activities, and prioritizing outreach using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-activity, and metrics-driven environment. Start-up or scale-up tech experience is a major plus
  • Strong ability to uncover customer pain points, handle objections on the fly, and confidently ask for the sale
  • Ability to review account performance or usage data, identify commercial triggers, and instantly execute targeted outreach campaigns
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. You can confidently command a conversation and interact with stakeholders at all levels of an organization

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and reward
  • Company promotes work/life balance to achieve maximum performance professionally and personally

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
We value hard work and on-the-job excellence, so we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages:
  • Position offers a Base Salary
  • Attainable Quota with Full Commission Potential
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and 401(k) benefits are offered
  • Flex Time Off (FTO)
