Ubik Group is seeking a talented Content Strategist for a long term contract role for a Fortune 100 Financial firm in Manhattan.
Job Description:
  • Develop an innovative content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term goals (internal release cycles, content to enable sales team, support, one-off requests)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan, design and build beautiful content
  • Create a community of practice for our global team of content authors, where they feel connected to us and can learn and grow their skills
  • Create, share and own publishing guidelines to help our content authors ensure their content 'shows up' awesome
  • Champion new media content - video, and audio specifically, but other experimental media too
  • Use data and metrics to drive future content roadmap
  • Develop an editorial calendar across teams
  • Think big, innovate, and relentlessly push the boundaries to change how we communicate as an organization.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in a content manager, digital marketing, social media manager or similar role and understands what it's like to work in large company environment
  • Creativity runs in veins. Cannot bear to go a day without a new idea.
  • Experience with photoshop and illustrator and how to make beautiful things come out of them.
  • Has multimedia production skills - can record, and edit videos that look cool
  • Lives and breathes social media - is on trend when it comes to the newest craze
  • Excellent writing skills and the willingness to break free from the corporate mold and help the organization be more human through language.
