Join our dynamic team as a Digital Content Coordinator in Manchester, NH Office for Retail Groups and enjoy a role that combines flexibility and opportunity. We offer a hybrid work schedule with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate in the office from Tuesdays through Thursdays. As a Digital Content Coordinator, you will create and curate content for our Retail Group member websites. This role involves providing creative direction, sourcing images for new web pages, conducting SEO research and strategy, building out content through our content management systems, and supporting new content initiatives and projects. The coordinator collaborates with the team to ensure SEO and content best practices are followed. Additionally, this position communicates and drives local content marketing strategies for individual stores to enhance organic SEO, working collaboratively with each member's unique strategy.
Our Digital Content Coordinator will:
  • Conduct thorough SEO research to craft compelling and creative original content that captures the target audience's attention and drives action. Edit content to maintain consistent quality, voice, messaging, and brand alignment, with a focus on SEO optimization. Load content, make website updates, and optimize SEO properties through our website content management system (CMS).
  • Manage and update content via our website content management system (CMS). Ensure accurate SEO properties are captured and correctly applied.
  • Collaborate with internal teams using project management software to communicate and document completed work. Provide guidance to other teams when necessary.
  • Offer creative direction, source, and resize images for new website content. Assist with reputation management and provide support to additional teams needing content assistance.

Do our requirements match YOUR background?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism or related preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in content generation and search engine optimization.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to discuss broad or complex concepts and simplify them into clear, concise messaging to target audience across various formats and channels.
  • Solid understanding of basic SEO implementation and content writing.
  • Solid experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
  • Experience with SEO copywriting and platforms such as Conductor and BrightLocal is a plus.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (like WordPress), Google Analytics and HTML is a plus.
  • Strong spelling and grammar, along with the ability to communicate courteously, tactfully, and concisely with both management and members are necessary.
