The Digital Content Associate supports Schwab Network’s day-to-day digital publishing efforts. This role helps clip live programming, edit short-form content, write platform-specific titles and descriptions, and publish videos across YouTube, social, and OTT channels. You’ll work closely with senior producers and the editorial team to package market news quickly, accurately, and in a way that engages active traders and investors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our digital presence and engage diverse audiences through compelling storytelling and strategic content planning.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital content strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Produce, edit, and publish daily digital video content across YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and web.
  • Own end-to-end production for clips, headlines, titles and descriptions, thumbnails, and show segments to drive viewership and engagement.
  • Coordinate with live programming teams, anchors, traders, and editorials to identify top market moments and turn them into high-impact digital assets.
  • Package long-form interviews, market explainers, and breaking news hits into short-form and mid-form digital formats.
  • Manage real-time publishing workflows during market hours to ensure speed, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy, titles, thumbnails, and publishing cadence.
  • Collaborate with digital and programming teams to support originals and content output across channels
  • Maintain Schwab Network’s tone: fast, credible, actionable, and built for active traders and investors.
  • Conduct fact-checking and research to produce accurate, credible, and engaging content.
  • Utilize strong editing skills, including copy editing, technical writing, creative writing, and proposal writing—to refine content for clarity, tone, and audience engagement.
  • Monitor analytics to assess content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay current on industry trends in journalism, digital media, and content marketing to innovate our approach.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in digital content creation or editorial leadership roles.
  • Exceptional proofreading, copy editing, editing, and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of AP style, Chicago Manual of Style, fact-checking processes, research methodologies, and journalistic standards.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Proficiency in word processing tools and content management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in copywriting, technical writing, creative writing, proposal writing, and project management.
