Home of Hope is seeking a creative, organized and mission-driven Social Media & Content Coordinator to help tell the stories of the people we serve, promote our programs and events, and strengthen our presence throughout Northeast Oklahoma.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be supervised by and work closely with the Marketing and Events Manager to maintain Home of Hope's social media accounts and support the organization's overall marketing and communications efforts.


Major Responsibilities:

Create, schedule and publish engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other digital platforms.

Assist with managing social media accounts for Home of Hope and its related programs, enterprises and athletic teams.

Visit Home of Hope locations, programs and events to take photographs and videos and gather stories.

Create graphics, short-form videos, reels, event promotions and other digital content.

Write clear, positive and engaging captions that reflect Home of Hope's mission and voice.

Maintain a social media content calendar and help ensure posts are published consistently and on time.

Respond appropriately to comments and messages or refer them to the correct staff member.

Help promote fundraising events, employment opportunities, community activities, thrift stores, Special Olympics teams and other Home of Hope programs.

Assist with collecting stories from clients, employees, volunteers, donors and community partners.

Monitor social media activity and prepare basic reports on reach, engagement, audience growth and content performance.

Help maintain organized photo, video and graphic libraries.

Follow all privacy requirements, consent procedures and organizational policies when sharing information or images involving the people Home of Hope serves.

Assist the Marketing and Events Manager with events, campaigns, website updates, email communications and other marketing projects as needed.

Requirements

Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design or a related field preferred but not required.

Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and short-form video content.

Strong writing, spelling and proofreading skills.

Basic photography and video-recording abilities.

Experience with design software preferred.

Ability to learn social media scheduling, email marketing and analytics tools.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Dependable, professional and comfortable interacting with people from a variety of backgrounds.

A willingness to travel to Home of Hope locations and events throughout Northeast Oklahoma.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Availability for occasional evening or weekend events.
