Job description

The opportunity
Adobe is seeking a Director of Content Operations to shape how ideas become exceptional content across our global marketing organization. This leader will build and run the operational model that powers how creative work enters, moves through, and scales across Adobe's Global Marketing content supply chain.
This role drives the processes and planning that align marketing demand with production capacity across the organization, including intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and workflow management. In partnership with in-house creative teams and agency partners, the Director ensures work is delivered predictably, efficiently, and at scale.
What you'll do
  • Lead the operational model that governs how work moves through the content production pipeline.
  • Establish intake and prioritization governance that translates marketing demand into clear, prioritized production work.
  • Forecast demand and align work with available capacity across internal creative teams and AOR partners.
  • Define workflows, service levels, and operating guidelines that accelerate production across campaigns, channels, and formats.
  • Establish operational governance and review cadences to track capacity, SLA performance, agency efficiency, and delivery outcomes.
  • Oversee agency operating models, including workflow integration, engagement standards, and performance expectations.
  • Lead agency contract renewals working closely with Procurement and executive partners, evaluating performance and guiding renewal or partner selection decisions.
  • Partner with Content Technology, Standards & Enablement, Content Intelligence, and Strategic Operations to align workflows with platforms, enablement programs, and insights.
  • Define operational metrics with the Content Intelligence team to identify friction points and improve efficiency across the content supply chain.

Success criteria
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, creative operations, production operations, or content supply chain roles.
  • Demonstrated success designing scalable workflows supporting complex marketing or creative environments involving internal teams and agencies.
  • Experience managing agency partnerships or vendor ecosystems.
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to translate complexity into clear operational frameworks.
  • Proven ability to align cross-functional partners across creative, marketing, agency, and technology teams.
  • Experience leading teams responsible for defining and enforcing operational processes, prioritization of resources, or production coordination.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills in highly matrixed organizations.
