We focus on enhancing the experience of creating Professionally Generated Content (PGC) on our platform, driving creativity and innovation in the short-video space. This role sits within the Operations Efficiency team, which seeks to drive effectiveness and efficiency of Ops programs and management by standardizing best practice, diagnosing and solving global underperformance and supplementing our strategies with external insight & rigour. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. About the Internship: TikTok's internship program offers students real-world exposure and hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry. You'll participate in impactful projects, development workshops, and social events, all while building core professional skills. Responsibilities: As a Content Operations intern focusing on Business Operations, you will: - Build and drive the Content Operations team's centralized infrastructure (i.e. content programs calendar, recap repositories, OKR/budget guides, etc.), which can be referenced across Ops, PGC, and Cross-Functional (XFN) teams. - Ideate and develop the future roadmap for business enablement through the centralized infrastructure, revieing usage requirements and operational workflows across the organization - Build functionality & partner with XFN teams to build key operational infrastructure, as well as build local workflows and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the regular updates of key documents. - Review and learn about the operations of the PGC, Ops, and XFN organizations, building critical workflows tied to impact and results.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data to inform decisions and improve processes. - Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to build, manage, and optimize operational workflows. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex processes into clear documentation and SOPs. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior internship or project experience in Operations, Project Management, Strategy, or Business Enablement within the tech, media, or entertainment industry. - Strong interest in collaborating cross-functionally across different departments (e.g., product, marketing, content). - Deep understanding of the digital content ecosystem, creator economy, and current trends on platforms like TikTok. - A proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $25- $25.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
