Schedule and Location:

  • 3-4 in-office days per week, and 1-2 remote days per week
  • This position will be based in our Schaumburg office with the option to work in the downtown Chicago office as desired, with at least 1 day per week in Schaumburg

Addison Group - Business Development Manager

The role of Business Development Manager (BDM) is primarily responsible for prospecting new clients for the division for which they are hired. BDMs must be able to research and identify prospective users of temporary or permanent staffing firms and develop a marketing plan to break into new clients and develop existing clients. Outside sale activities such as client visits, prospecting, door knocking and attending networking events are also a necessary part of the BDA’s weekly activities. The BDM partners with Recruiters to match the requirements of each client’s need.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and sell potential business deals by contacting potential clients nationwide
  • Schedule and attend client meetings to generate new business and expand current business
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through cold calling/prospecting calls
  • Negotiate fees and close deals in accordance with company goals and expectations

  • 1-5 years of professional work experience preferably in staffing or other sales environments

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $65,000-70,000+ DOE plus uncapped competitive commission structure plus bonus
  • Year 1 total on target earnings of $90,000-95,000+
