GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARYWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Lines Producer Assistant to support our Commercial New Business Team. This role focuses primarily on processing, quoting support, underwriting coordination, binding procedures, and administrative support for Sales Producers.The Producer Assistant role is designed for individuals who enjoy operational support and insurance processing rather than direct sales. This position plays an important role in helping Producers manage new business submissions efficiently and accurately.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in commercial insurance with future growth opportunities into Account Management or Sales Producer roles. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESNew Business Processing SupportSupport Commercial Lines Sales Producers with new business processing and submission management Prepare and process insurance applications, supplemental forms, and required documentation Assist with quoting preparation and market submissions to insurance carriers Follow up on underwriting requirements, missing information, and pending items Review quotes, policy documents, and carrier requirements for accuracy Binding & Policy ProcessingProcess binding requests and issue binders according to carrier guidelines Coordinate policy issuance and ensure all required documents are completed Assist with endorsements, policy changes, and renewal preparation as needed Maintain accurate records and update agency management systems Billing & Administrative SupportPrepare invoices and assist with payment processing procedures Track outstanding items, binding deadlines, and underwriting follow-ups Coordinate with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal departments regarding policy processing Maintain organized electronic files and documentation  BASIC QUALIFICATIONSPreferred minimum 1 year of experience in commercial insurance support or processing Preferred active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance LicenseBilingual in Chinese and English preferred (spoken and written) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and follow-up skills Professional written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to learn carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, and agency procedures quickly PREFERRED QUALITIESHighly organized and process-oriented Ability to work independently and efficiently Team player with a strong sense of responsibility Eager to learn and grow within the commercial insurance industry  WHO WE AREWith over 30 years of experience, TransGlobal has grown into the largest Asian-focused, all-in-one financial services platform in the U.S. We offer a comprehensive suite of services-including life and health insurance, annuities, real estate, private lending, tax and estate planning, and investment management-through a network of 30+ branches across 14 states and over 5,000 professional independent agents.
