We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to join our clients' growing insurance team. You will be instrumental in managing day-to-day account activities, processing insurance documentation, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.

Key ResponsibilitiesCertificate of Insurance Management

A significant portion of this role involves the timely and accurate processing of certificates of insurance. You will be responsible for:

  • Generating certificates of insurance for clients, ensuring all coverage details are accurate and comply with contractual requirements
  • Managing high-volume certificate requests, particularly from real estate clients who require certificates for property managers, lenders, and tenants
  • Reviewing certificate requests to verify proper additional insured language and waiver of subrogation endorsements
  • Maintaining organized tracking systems for certificate requests and ensuring timely delivery to all parties
  • Communicating with clients to clarify certificate requirements and educate them on coverage limitations
Billing and Invoicing Support

You will work closely with Account Managers to ensure accurate and efficient billing processes:

  • Processing premium invoices and coordinating payment arrangements with clients
  • Reconciling agency bills and carrier statements to ensure accuracy
  • Managing installment payment plans and monitoring account balances
  • Addressing billing inquiries from clients and resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Coordinating with the accounting department on premium finance agreements and payment processing
  • Generating billing reports and maintaining financial records within Applied EPIC
