Position Type: Full-Time | Location: Fully Remote for an Insurance agency based in northern New Jersey
About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team in a fully remote capacity. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in professional liability lines and demonstrate proficiency in managing complex client relationships for smart clients while delivering exceptional service and maintaining account retention.

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for an established book of business, working independently to service existing clients, manage policy renewals, and ensure comprehensive coverage solutions. This role requires a self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote work environment and possesses the technical expertise to navigate sophisticated commercial insurance products.

Book of business comprised of clients from the following industries: Technology, Life Sciences and Biotech.

Primary ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Client Relations
  • Manage and service an assigned book of commercial lines accounts, serving as the primary contact for all client inquiries, policy changes, and coverage questions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication, regular account reviews, and responsive service delivery
  • Conduct comprehensive annual policy reviews to assess coverage adequacy, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information for renewals, new business submissions, and policy modifications
  • Provide expert guidance on professional liability coverages including Directors & Officers (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O), Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI), and Cyber Liability
*Preference to candidates licensed Property & Casualty in New Jersey
*Preference to candidates with EPIC experience
