Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to manage daily kitchen operations, maintain high food quality standards, and oversee the preparation of all dishes. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes.
  • Lead kitchen staff during meal preparation, ensuring that all food is prepared according to recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering and procurement to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism, teamwork, and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently during service, managing the flow of dishes, coordinating timing, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Assist in managing food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring portion control.
  • Step in to cover for the Executive Chef during their absence.

Qualifications:
